Cooperative predictive set point modulation control of high‐speed trains

Cooperative control of high-speed trains can improve the safety and efficiency railway transportation. However, velocity distance overshoots in cooperative multiple is an undesirable behavior, which will lead to unsafe inefficient train operation. To address this issue, a predictive set point modulation approach for proposed. First, cyber-physical modeling presented. The longitudinal dynamic characteristics are established physical layer, cyber layer represents communication topology based on graph theory. Second, rule designed achieve consensus maintain safe between adjacent trains. Moreover, automatic adjustment with correction enable (SPAACE) leveraged smoothly adjust set-point suppress velocities inter-train distance. Finally, performance proposed method verified three different simulation scenarios: normal, acceleration deceleration conditions. results show that reduces maximum relative displacement by 62% error 34%.
